Gotta Love Mae!

Today Some Odd Girl has two new digi stamps.  Both new stamps are MAE and they both make me think of friends, but they are very different too.  Take a look....

First we have Phone Call Mae.  She is so fun...and ready to chat with her BFF all night.

The second is Jogger Mae.  She is perfect for a card to a friend that is your exercise buddy or a friend running their first 5K.  Cute, huh?!?

Click on over to the Some Odd Girl blog and see what the other Odd Girls have done with these new digis too.  They are ready in the shop today, so grab one or both and send a card to your BFF today! :-)

CHA with Some Odd Girl

Lucky lucky little ol' me got to attend the summer CHA "Create 'N Connect show" in Las Vegas with Some Odd Girl.  The SOG booth was bright and fun...and it was always busy with crafters wanting to learn more about our Odd stamps.  Our 'make & takes' were a huge hit with everyone that stopped by.

Here is one of my Instagram photos with the entire crew....

The crew includes: Leah, Corrine, myself, Katie, The Odd Guy (Jason), and Kristy.

The biggest highlight for me was meeting THE Odd Girl, Kristy Dalman.  She is so so nice and crazy  funny....I am here to tell you this girl is a laugh out loud funny!  It was super cool getting to hang out with my favorite crafty chick!

Here are some snap shots from our booth:

Tomorrow I'll post some snap shots from the rest of the show, so I hope you stop back by.

Until then, have a great day!

Up in the Clouds

Hello everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day this morning, but that can change quickly around here.  We have a had a LOT of rain in my area lately.  This little cloud card goes perfect with my weather. ;-)

This little Cloud card is made using a new easel back cut file from Some Odd Girl.  It lays flat to fit in an envelope, but then you can fold it to stand up for display.  I made it with my Silhouette and added some texture with embossing folders. I added some twine for the rainbow and a cute little raindrop brad.

The other Odd Girls have some fun projects for you today.  They are using this fun card base and a CUTE new digi stamp.  You can find it all at the Some Odd Girl blog.  Happy Crafting!

Odd Cut Files

If you are a Silhouette user, you are going to want to get your hands on the newest cut files from Some Odd Girl. They are perfect for card making, scrapbooking, and Project Life.  They would also make a great mask when using spray inks.

Here I used the circle arrow background cut file.  Just like other cut files, you can shrink or enlarge it for what ever project you are working on. All of the little arrows that pop out come in handy for embellishments.
I also used Kaylee's Closet (colored with Copics) and Be You clear stamps too.

Don't forget to check out the Some Odd Girl blog to see what the other Odd Girls did with this and other cool new cut files.  Have a great Tuesday!!

July Sketch Challenge

Good Monday morning to you!! Ok, I know Monday is usually...blah, but I have a great sketch challenge that will hopefully make it a little better for you. :-)

Here's the Some Odd Girl sketch...

Here's my take on it...

I used the super cute Photo Kaylee. Well, the top part of her anyway. ;-) I just love her! She was one of my very first Some Odd Girl stamps.

The paper I used is Amy Tangerine paper, Simple Stories, and Hobby Lobby brand. I accented with a chipboard sentiment, Tim Holtz film strip ribbon and an old Elsie rub-on.

I hope you come over to Some Odd Girl and join the challenge with us.  You might be the lucky person to WIN a fab SOG prize.  So get out that paper and start craftin'!
